Meet Meredith.
I was born and raised in a little town called Somerset, Pennsylvania, and grew up eating the Standard American Diet (SAD).
After years of low vibrational eating and lifestyle choices, during which I experienced recurring hormonal, weight, emotional eating, auto-immune, and skin issues, I decided to make a drastic change.

In 2010, I left the “laissez les bon temps rouler” lifestyle in New Orleans (goodbye Bourbon Street!) and moved 1500 north miles to a remote holistic retreat center in Massachusetts.
I became an apprentice in the kitchen at the Kushi Institute, where I learned how to cook healing foods using a macrobiotic approach. I spent many hours chopping veggies, chewing endless bowls of brown rice, and studying the Japanese philosophy of “great life”—a system of holistic and dynamic practices that guide nutrition, activity, and lifestyle choices for maximum healing.
While learning the ropes in the macro kitchen, I began to heal my physical imbalances and emotional blocks. These successes inspired me to to start helping others, so…
in 2012
In 2012, I became certified as a health coach.
After nearly four years at the Institute, I returned to Pennsylvania to spend time with family and support my mama’s cancer journey. I was grateful to be able to share all I had learned with her to support her healing process. (P.S. She is doing great!)
I worked with medical doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturists, neurofeedback practitioners, holistic dentists, and energy healers to expand my own health practices. Along the way, I did plenty of research and self-experimentation to discover the supplement, detox, fasting, and other lifestyle strategies that made the biggest impact.
